Welcome to Customer's Canvas Dev Center
If you are here, we can assume that you are a developer who want to use Customer's Canvas API to integrate it with your application or automate some processes.
At this point, we assume that you have already got an instance of Customer's Canvas working - either a cloud version or your own on-premises instance. If not, either contact our team to get a cloud version trial or refer the IT Administration documentation area for more information how to install it on your own infrastructure.
If you are looking for a documentation for the Customer's Canvas 5 or earlier, or you need a manual only for the Design Editor part, refer the classic Customer's Canvas documentation.
For the information about new APIs and features important for the developers, refer the Release Notes section. Note, it contains the information important only for the developers, so you may want to check the Release Notes of the users guide or Design Editor change log separately.
How it is organized
The developer center consists of four types of articles:
- Overview - the information which helps you to understand our logic, explains architecture of the applications, and other background information.
- Tutorials - quick guides how to get anything to work without drilling through a lot of theory. Great to get a first impression and basic skills on working with various Customer's Canvas components.
- How-to guides - the recipes of how to accomplish specific tasks.
- Reference - auto-generated documentation for the APIs.
Before you start coding, we strongly recommend to familiarize yourself with Customer's Canvas architecture and understand the main concepts.
