# Render Method (, Single, , , Boolean, WorkspaceTransformParams, Nullable(RectangleF))

Renders the canvas to a [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm).

## Syntax

public virtual Bitmap Render(ICanvas canvas,float dpi,ColorSpace colorSpace,Color backgroundColor,bool isPreview,WorkspaceTransformParams workspaceTransformParams,Nullable<RectangleF> cropArea
)

### Parameters
 
 - canvas
     - Type: ICanvas
A canvas to render.

 - dpi
     - Type: System.Single
The resulting image resolution.

 - colorSpace
     - Type: ColorSpace
The resulting [ColorSpace](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_ColorSpace.htm).

 - backgroundColor
     - Type: Color
The resulting background [Color](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Color.htm).

 - isPreview
     - Type: System.Boolean
Defines whether the resulting image is a low resolution preview.

 - workspaceTransformParams
     - Type: [Aurigma.DesignAtoms.Rendering.WorkspaceTransformParams](https://customerscanvas.com/docs/cc6/T_Aurigma_DesignAtoms_Rendering_WorkspaceTransformParams.htm.md)
Defines whether the resulting image should be flipped, rotated, or rendered as is.

 - cropArea
     - Type: System.Nullable&lt;RectangleF&gt;
A rectangle defining the region to be printed.
 
### Return Value
A [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm) representing the rendered canvas.
