# setTags Method

- setTags(tags:  [ITagsDictionary](https://customerscanvas.com/docs/cc6/customerscanvas.iframeapi.objectmodel.itagsdictionary.htm.md) ) :  Promise < void >

- Specifies tags for the product.
  
 - example
     - ```
    var newTags = {
      "product": "postcard",
      "design": "flowers",
      "colorTheme": "red"
    };
    
    editor.getProduct()
        .then(function (product) {
            product.setTags(newTags)
            .catch(function (error) {
                console.error("Setting tags failed with exception: ", error);
            });
        })
    ```
