# getUserId Method

### Callable
 
- getUserId( ) :  Promise < string >

- Reads ID of the user working on the product.
  
 - example
     - ```
    CustomersCanvas.IframeApi.loadEditor(iframe, productDefinition)
        .then((editor) => {
            editor.configuration.getUserId()
                .then(id => console.log("The current user ID is " + id))
        })
        .catch(e => console.log(e));
    ```

#### Returns Promise < string >
 
    The user identifier.
