# Mockups

> A _mockup_ is a special kind of images used to visualize the products while editing the design. The **Mockups** folder contains graphics for the [PIM module](https://customerscanvas.com/docs/hub/admin-guide/pim.md).

In this section, you will learn about possible ways to add mockups to the Customer's Canvas:

1. [Import mockup files](https://customerscanvas.com/docs/hub/admin-guide/manage-assets/mockups/importing-mockups.md) with both pseudo 3D images and 3D models. Pseudo 3D images illustrate products at different personalization steps as a `Thumbnail`, a `Preview`, or the `Editor` background.
2. [Create a mockup file for packaging](https://customerscanvas.com/docs/hub/admin-guide/manage-assets/mockups/create-new-mockup.md) by specifying its parameters, like the size, specification code, carton type, and more. As a result, a 3D model will be created.
