# Task list

> Explore pipeline tasks grouped by purpose, from extraction to finalizing.

In this topic, we classify tasks into different types.

## 1. Adding files to artifact storage

In the most common scenario, you will need to render a personalized design that the user approves before checkout. To get this data from the project, use these tasks:

To extract images from a design, use the following task:

You can also get an asset from the Asset Storage or download files from the specified link through these tasks:

All these tasks save the assets as artifacts.

## 2. Artifact processing

Input or output artifacts sometimes require additional processing.

For example, to populate your design with custom data, you can add these tasks:

To display full-size images instead of preview images from Depositphotos, you must first purchase them by completing the following task:

To place designs on a larger sheet (_imposition_), use the following task:

Combining pages into one print file can be performed by the following task:

If you need to add markup to the print file, use these tasks:

## 3. Design rendering

The rendering of designs created in Customer's Canvas editors to print files can be performed by the task:

If your design is a template for _variable data printing_ (VDP), then use the following task.

## 4. Delivering results

After rendering is completed, you can not only save the print files in the project but also send a notification about it and deliver it to an external system.

## 5. Configuring artifact properties

If you need to change the artifact name or other parameters, use these tasks:
