How to set up item behavior
In the How to create designs section, we focused on the visual side of a design: arranging design elements on pages as well as specifying colors, fonts, sizes, and other design properties. However, when you create a template for Customer's Canvas, creating a nice looking-design is just half of the work. The second half is to configure how different elements will behave in the end-user's Design Editor.
For example, you may want certain elements to be visible only in an editor, but excluded from a print file or vice versa. Perhaps you want certain elements to be variables or placeholders, or you may want some text elements to automatically shrink if they go out of a specified box.
In this section, you will learn how to configure the behavior of design elements in the Template Editor.
