Workflow Elements

Workflow Elements is a set of web components that implement the customization screens of a multi-page ordering workflow. You configure each component in a workflow file and assign that file to a product.

These components cover option selection and simple customization on the product page, design editing on the editor screen, and the approval of the result before the customer moves to the shopping cart. The Template Editor serves a different purpose: your employees use it to prepare design templates.

What you can do​

  • Assign different workflow files to different products.
  • Customize the product page with the Simple Editor and the editor screen with the Handy Editor.
  • Apply finishing variations, such as foils, to colorless containers in the Handy Editor.
  • Prepare design templates with the Template Editor.
  • Define settings and resources for each component in one workflow file.

Choose an element​

  • Use Handy Editor when customers need freehand design editing.
  • Use Simple Editor when customers customize a product through input fields and options on the product page.
  • Use Template Editor when your employees create or edit design templates outside the Customer's Canvas admin panel.
