Our team returned from Printing United 2025 energized by meaningful conversations and new insights. From automation and AI to eCommerce growth, the trends shaping the print industry were on full display, and we saw them come to life at our booth.

Thank you for an inspiring week

We’d like to thank the organizers of PRINTING United and everyone who visited our booth in Orlando this year. Once again, this event proved that nothing compares to meeting people face to face. Hearing their stories, seeing the spark in their eyes when they find a solution that fits, and exchanging ideas that simply don’t happen over a screen.

Our team had a packed and rewarding few days filled with conversations with commercial printers, in-plant teams, software vendors, and integration partners. From small printshops to enterprise providers, it was great to reconnect with long-time customers and meet so many new faces from across the printing ecosystem.

Industry trends confirmed on the show floor

During the Alliance Insights & NAPCO Research breakfast, the speakers shared the latest findings about where the printing industry is headed. We were excited to see how those insights came to life in real conversations at our booth.

    Automation as the new baseline

According to the research, more than 75% of print providers list productivity and automation as their top priorities for 2026. Cost pressures, labor challenges, and the need to handle more product types are driving companies to find ways to do more with fewer manual steps.

This trend was evident in nearly every discussion. Printers are looking for better ways to automate prepress, simplify proofing, and speed up artwork preparation while keeping quality under control.

AI: from curiosity to competitive advantage

The data showed that 85% of print providers see AI as critical to staying competitive, and 83% already recognize new business opportunities from it.

We saw that same interest reflected at our booth. Many visitors came to explore our AI-powered features, such as text-to-image generation, automatic image vectorization, and smart image cleanup. These tools help print providers prepare customer designs faster and with higher consistency, making AI not just an experiment but a practical production asset.

    Convergence reshapes the market

More and more print providers are crossing traditional category lines. Commercial printers are adding signage and promo, while wide-format specialists are moving into packaging and apparel.

This convergence was easy to see on the show floor, where visitors shared plans to manage everything from business printing to branded corporate gifts in one connected workflow.

    E-commerce keeps driving transformation

Nearly half of all respondents in the Alliance Insights survey plan to invest in e-commerce solutions within the next 12 months. That aligns perfectly with what we heard during the show: companies are looking to improve online ordering experiences, whether for corporate B2B clients or consumer-facing storefronts built on Shopify or WooCommerce.

    Our highlights at Printing United

This year, Customer’s Canvas showcased several innovations that caught the attention of attendees.

    AI image processing

We demonstrated new features for text-to-image generation, vectorization, and automatic image cleanup right inside our online editor.

These tools were especially well received by promo and apparel printers, who deal with large volumes of user-uploaded artwork and need to prepare designs quickly for print.

    B2B corporate portals

We introduced an enhanced solution for corporate print programs, making it easier for enterprise clients to order branded materials through self-service portals.

Many commercial and in-plant printers recognized this as a perfect fit for automating their repeat corporate jobs.

    Support for multiple decoration methods

We also showcased extended support for different decoration workflows, including screen printing, embroidery, engraving, and sublimation.

Visitors appreciated how this functionality brings order and automation to complex promo-product setups.

    Tote bag customization

    Looking ahead

We left Orlando inspired by the industry’s momentum toward automation, e-commerce, and AI.

Every discussion reinforced that print is evolving fast, and those who embrace digital transformation today will define its future tomorrow.
