It’s incredible how quickly 2024 has flown by! As we prepare to welcome the new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the most exciting milestones and significant advancements that shaped Customer’s Canvas this year.

    Handy Editor and Real-Time 3D Previews

    In 2024, we launched a significant project to develop a new online editor — Handy Editor. Currently in its beta version, this tool introduces a modernized interface and enhanced functionality designed to meet evolving personalization needs. While still in the early stages, the Handy Editor reflects our commitment to delivering reliable and flexible solutions, and we have ambitious plans to further improve and expand its capabilities in 2025.

    Alongside the editor, we focused on enhancing the 3D Preview component. Now, product models dynamically update in real time as changes are made to the design, providing a more intuitive and accurate visualization experience. This improvement helps users better understand the final look of their products, reducing uncertainties and the need for revisions.

    With Handy Editor and real-time 3D previews, we’re setting new standards for online product personalization — and this is just the beginning!

    Improved Web-to-Pack Solution

    This year, we made significant strides in enhancing our web-to-pack solutions, aiming to streamline the process of packaging personalization. One of the key achievements was the enhancement of an asset generator, designed to simplify the creation of packaging templates and mockups. Additionally, we continue to expand our library of available packaging models and specifications, offering clients an ever-growing range of options to meet diverse needs.

    To complement these improvements, we refined the workflows for personalizing both static-sized and dynamically sized boxes. A dedicated component for product pages was introduced, offering users an intuitive and efficient way to customize packaging directly within their desired dimensions.

    Advancements in the Handy Editor and 3D Preview were seamlessly applied to packaging solutions, showcasing their adaptability and flexibility across different use cases.

    New Pricing Module

    We made significant progress in developing our own pricing module within the Customer’s Canvas admin panel. Recognizing the limitations of some eCommerce platforms in handling advanced pricing configurations, we introduced this feature to give our clients greater control and flexibility.

    The new module allows users to create pricing rules using formulas, tailored to categories, products, or specific options. Additionally, it includes functionality for setting up discount offers, enabling more dynamic and customizable pricing strategies.

    More Elaborate Workflow for Direct Mail

    2024 was also dedicated to advancing our solution for the direct mail industry, with a focus on enabling seamless, data-driven personalization. Our application, designed for integration into client websites, empowers printers and marketing agencies to offer their customers the ability to merge customer data, personalize content, and manage the entire direct mail workflow — from campaign creation and designs personalization to print and distribution.

    Additionally, we significantly enhanced our rendering engine to meet the demands of high-volume variable data printing (VDP) tasks. These improvements have ensured its reliability and scalability, making it well-suited for even the most complex direct mail campaigns.

    Inspiring Industry Events

    In 2024, we embraced the opportunity to attend two of the printing industry’s most significant events: Drupa and Printing United. These gatherings provided invaluable insights into the latest trends and innovations shaping the market.

    We were delighted to establish new partnerships, engage with our clients in person, and introduce our product to a broader audience. Events like these not only allow us to showcase our solutions but also help us better understand the evolving needs of the industry, driving us to deliver even greater value to our customers.
